Flash Powder Projects curates physical traveling shows and quarterly
exhibitions online using images from Flash Powder photographers.

Making Muses

Exhibiting at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center from May 6 to June 25. Opening reception May 20.

Flash Powder Projects began as a way to work intimately and intensively with some of the most talented photographers in today’s emerging artist arena. At its core, Flash Powder Projects is committed to community-building, creative collaboration, education and exposure for emerging photographers.

Since its inception in July 2012, Flash Powder has developed into a close-knit community of gifted, driven and collaborative artists. We believe in these photographers and are proud to be part of their development and their lives. We are in awe of the talent you will see in this exhibition.

One overwhelming strength of the Flash Powder photographers is their ability to capture raw emotion through a photographic portrait. This exhibition highlights images that speak to the depth of intensity that can be achieved between an artist and his or her muse.

The images below are a small sampling of the physical exhibition, Making Muses. You can purchase the exhibition catalog here.
